Recent Advances in Constructed Wetlands for Treatment Wastewater
Constructed wetlands are efficient technologies for wastewater treatment. They are low and are easily constructed, operated and maintained, compared to the conventional wastewater treatment systems. The aim of this critical review is to introduce and compare three different types of constructde wetlands;free-floating plants, subsurface flow systems and hybrid systems. Further evaluations in choosing constructed wetlands as wastewater systems are given.
